Good Food Spots in Kuta Lombok

Food options in Kuta, Lombok are abundant with a large growing variety of kitchens. Unlike Bali there are no available apps like grab food and Gojek to deliver your meal. But do not get upset. DHM is located in the heart of Kuta, Lombok. Guests can easily walk to most of the restaurants and bars from our surf camp. Here’s a couple of our favourite places.

Taste of Javanese food at Warung Jawa

This warung has been run by a Javanese couple for over 10 years. They don’t serve local food from Lombok, but a fresh selection of the popular Javanese food. Whether you are a vegetarian or a meat lover, you will enjoy a stomach-friendly meal for a very fair price. The place is situated right between JM Hotel and Together Homestay. Ask for Warung Jawa of Muhajir.

Ashtari Lounge

A little out of town, Ashtari is a perfect place to relax, enjoy the view and the predominantly French kitchen. Sunsets are often accompanied by live music performances.

Patio

Fine dining has finally arrived in Kuta, Lombok. Its young chef has put all her passion into the sourcing, preparing and presenting of her delicious menu. In fact, there are many tapas to choose from, good sangria and wine.

La Cabana Sikara

A large open space to enjoy a variety of Spanish delights. You can for instance enjoy the famous Paella and fresh cold Margarita by the pool.

Balkan Grill

Close to the main intersection, this small restaurant is bringing authentic central European flavours to Lombok. Serving  (organic & halal) cevapi, (the better kebab!) and other original Balkan dishes, including vegetarian options using natural and fresh ingredients. A welcoming new taste experience for the Asia traveler.

Andy’s Burger House

Located slightly out of town, this local run burger house serves delicious burgers for an unbeatable price. Tempe is a famous Indonesian soy product and Andy’s well-known tempe burgers are not only popular among vegetarians.

These are just a few examples of the food options Kuta Lombok has to offer. Feel free to ask us for advice on other go-to restaurants.
