RISK ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The customer acknowledges that there are inherent dangers both apparent and hidden associated with surfing activities. Additionally, the customer participates in the surf camp at his or her own risk acknowledging that it may involve injury

INSURANCE

It is mandatory for every customer to have an own travel insurance to join our surf camp. DHM is excluded from any liability to the customer and will not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury to the customer arising from or connected with any activity conducted by DHM Surf Camp no matter how that loss, damage or injury is caused. Nevertheless, if the guest does not have any type of insurance, we can advise and provide alternative options. Contact us for extra information regarding this subject.

EXTERNAL CONDITIONS

Customers acknowledge and agree that DHM Surf Camp has no control in respect of weather, surf or other physical conditions during any surf camp. DHM Surf Camp is accordingly not liable for any loss, damage, inconvenience to any customer or any property of any customer arising from all or any of these factors.

TERMINATION

DHM Surf Camp reserves the exclusive right to decide whether beach conditions, weather or other factors make any particular activity during the surf camp unsafe or inadvisable and DHM Surf Camp may terminate them at any time for any reason without refund.

INSTRUCTIONS AND DIRECTIONS

Every customer must obey all directions and instructions from DHM Surf Camp’s staff and must not disturb other participants in any surf camp activity or interfere with the surf camps instructors’ ability to conduct the surf camp in a safe and secure manner.

EQUIPMENT

All customers have to respect and take good care of the equipment provided by DHM Surf Camp. DHM Surf Camp gives no warranty as to the condition or fitness of such equipment but will use its best endeavours to ensure that adequate equipment is made available. The customer will pay for all inflicted damage to equipment provided by the Surf Camp. Also for surfboards, the ‘you break, you pay’ policy is adopted. This rule always holds for board rental. During lessons, if a customer fails to follow explicit safety instructions of a DHM instructor, damaging the board, the customer will be held responsible. However, if a board is damaged during a lesson beyond the customer’s control, DHM will take responsibility of the repairs or arrange responsibility of the respective 3rd party.

ALCOHOL AND DRUGS

No customer is permitted to bring any drug or alcohol to any surf camp without the express prior written permission of Surf Camp. Therefore, DHM Surf Camp reserves the right to inspect any bag or other container brought by any customer in case of suspicion for drugs.
